This is your opportunity to lead! Join or lead a provincial advisory committee, either as staff or a board member.
Standard Board Committees:
- Governance Committee – Typical executive committee functions are included under this committee. Recruits new members, conducts orientations, creates meeting materials, and evaluates board performance
- Internal Affairs Committee – Manages internal operations related to finance, personnel etc.
- External Affairs Committee – Oversees external functions, including fundraising, communications, media relations, public relations, and marketing.
Policy Advisory Committees:
- Subcommittees include representation across political spectrums such as centre-left, centre-right, economically centre-left, and culturally centre-right.
Operational Advisory Committees:
- Focus areas include research (with specialized subcommittees), dissemination (media and government subcommittees), social media (tech platforms subcommittees), and events.
Regional Advisory Committees:
- Each Local Chapter has three potential policy advocacy subcommittees and one community advocacy subcommittee.
